PMI defines leadership as the: “Knowledge, skills and behaviors specific to leadership oriented, cross-cutting activities that help an organization achieve its business goals.”. And leadership skills make up one third of the PMI Talent Triangle.
However, it is their responsibility to get the team effectively engaged. This is the reason for engaging the project team and stakeholders in uncovering those things that may present risks to the project — the identification part of the risk management process. Do not quickly dismiss potential risks identified by team members.
