What Is Agile Project Management? Agile project management is an iterative approach to delivering a project through short planning cycles called sprints. Very early in my career I worked with an IT manager who refused to use the term ‘the business’ in conversation. He’d pull people up when colleagues said things like, “The business is asking for…”. What you really mean, he would argue, is that the Marketing team, or the Finance team, is asking for something. There is no dichotomy of IT and ‘the business’.
