Here’s my list of top change management books for leaders. How I chose these books. I looked for: Writing style and whether they were engaging and easy to follow Contents — how much did the book provide in terms of things you could repeat yourself at work? Inspiration — how did I feel after reading the book?
I’ve read, I’m guessing, over 150 management books in my career, and you can read my book reviews if you want to trawl through the archives. In this article, I’m saving you some time by highlighting 15 of my recommended books for PDUs, but first, let’s cover off some details about using reading. What books qualify for PDUs?
Here’s my list of top change management books for leaders. Kotter is a leading authority in change management, and this is the book to start with. Aimed at people doing change management in a leadership role (aren’t we all?), This is another book that has had multiple editions, so be sure to get the latest version.

No doubt the role of policing projects is one part of the PMOs responsibility but not the only part, such an approach may work for a short period of time but it is not sustainable. For example, if your PMO is created solely with the purpose of being the ‘project police’ then you will be in for a very short run.
