Schwaber left the Scrum Alliance in 2009 to start a parallel accreditation organization called Scrum.org. What It Is: PRINCE2 stands for Projects IN Controlled Environments, and is a structured certified methodology. It was initially created by the UK government for IT projects. It requires a certification to practice.
